Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through Shopify store (“Store”) by customers located in India. By placing an order you agree to the terms below, which are framed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020

2. Order Cancellation (Before Dispatch)

  1. Free cancellation window – You may cancel an order at any time before it is marked “Dispatched/Out for Delivery” in your order status
  2. How to cancel
  • Log in to your Store account → OrdersCancel Order; or
  • Email us at dorabloomsmail@gmail.com with your order number and “Cancellation” in the subject line.

Refund timeline – Once we confirm that the order has not been dispatched, we will initiate a full refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Banks may take additional time to credit the amount to you.

No cancellation fee – In line with Rule 6(5) of the E-Commerce Rules, we do not levy cancellation charges for orders cancelled before dispatch

3. No Returns or Refunds After Dispatch

  1. Final-sale policy – All products become final sale once dispatched. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests after the shipment has left our facility.
  2. Rationale – Our products are handcrafted/limited-batch, and we cannot guarantee resalable condition once they leave our controlled environment.
  3. Exceptions for transit damage or manufacturing defects – Your statutory rights remain intact. If you receive goods that are defective, damaged in transit, or not as described, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence; we will evaluate and, where applicable, repair, replace or refund in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 2019

4. Refund Method

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment instrument (UPI, credit/debit card, net-banking, wallet, etc.). Cash-on-Delivery orders are refunded via bank transfer; please provide complete account details when requested.

5. Shipping & Handling Charges

  • For cancellations before dispatch: any prepaid shipping fee is refunded in full.
  • For post-dispatch cases (RTO, refusal, or unclaimed parcels): outward and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
